SHARON URQUHART RVN
HEAD VETERINARY NURSE
Our Head Nurse and VN Clinical Coach, Sharon has been at Ivybank for many years. She went through the VN training when there was much less paper-work and a bit more hands-on practical training. But now, as a supervisor and coach of student VNs, she has a mountain of paperwork to cope with. In spite of all this she appears to be a very calm and relaxed person, no matter what chaos daily practice life may bring. She runs our Irvine puppy parties along with Vikki. Sharon is an accomplished horsewoman and competed at Badminton Grassroots Horse Trials in 2010.
LYNDSEY CIARCIÀ RVN
Lyndsey is our exotic nurse! She did a course to gain further knowledge and qualifications and that means she is called in to help when you bring an animal to the Clinic which isn't a dog, a cat or a rabbit. We're talking rats, mice, snakes, injured wildlife, cage-birds, tortoises. You name it: Lyndsey gets the call! She also runs our Waist Watchers Clinics, helping to slim down Ayrshire's pets. Her ambition is to leave Ivybank Veterinary Clinic in Irvine and set up a branch surgery in Torino, Italia, which happens to be where her husband Salvatore comes from.
KIRSTEN CLARK RVN
Kirsten joined our nursing team in May 2017 having been a trainee nurse with us for the past few years and recently passing her final exams with flying colours. We are delighted to welcome her back as a fully qualified member of our excellent nursing team.
VIKKI HARVEY RVN
Vikki will be a familiar face to some of our Irvine clients as she spent many weeks with us on placement during her nurse training over the past four years. We were obviously too nice to her when she was a student as she's decided to come back and join us as our fourth qualified nurse! Along with Sharon, Vikki helps run the Irvine puppy parties.
CASSIE INNES RVN
Cassie completed her nursing training through Ivybank and has worked with us since. She has an interest in helping people whose pets have behavioural problems and has a handsome white cat named Sydney who has a penchant for filching sausages off the barbeque! She also goes on exciting long holidays to places like Vietnam and Thailand.
ZOE TAIT RVN
Zoe joined our nursing team in Spring 2016
KAY WHEATLEY RVN
After spending her vet nurse training placements with us, Kay finished her course in 2015. She then joined us as the 5th full time member of our fully qualified and registered nursing team and runs our puppy parties in Kilwinning.
YVONNE WALLACE SVN
STUDENT VETERINARY NURSE
Yvonne formerly worked as an Animal Care Assistant/Receptionist at our Irvine and Kilwinning surgeries but we haven't put her off working with animals (and us!) too much as she is now undertaking her Veterinary Nurse Training.
